ALASKA FISHING LODGE
CHINOOK SHORES is an Alaska fishing lodge near
Ketchikan Alaska. We are located on the road system making us easier to get to
than most Alaskan fishing lodges. Ketchikan is only a 90 minute direct flight
from Seattle on Alaska Airlines so you can leave in the morning and be landing a
wild Alaskan salmon in the afternoon.
DELUXE ACCOMMODATIONS
All our guests enjoy a private beach front lodge exclusive to
their group, with a deck overlooking the ocean. Each Alaska fishing lodge is
fully furnished and has a full size kitchen to prepare your meals. Our Alaska
fishing lodges are the most private, comfortable and relaxing of any we’ve seen.
You can sit on the deck and watch eagles, seals, porpoise and whales pass
through the protected waters of our cove while the sun sets over the water.
WALK TO THE DOCK
Like most fishermen, you’ve spent a day on the water but still
want to fish. You can walk from the front door of your beach house to our
private dock and throw in a line at any time. Or if you’re checked out on one of
our self guided boats, you can motor away from the dock and go fishing any time
between daylight and dusk.

Ketchikan is known as the Salmon Capitol of the World. There are many rivers and
streams in and around Ketchikan that produce unsurpassed Alaska salmon fishing
opportunities. All five species of salmon pass through our waters on their
migration from the open ocean making Ketchikan a world class destination for
Alaska salmon fishing. Choose from an Alaska salmon fishing charter or an
unguided fishing trip.
ALASKA HALIBUT FISHING
Halibut fishing in Ketchikan is simply awesome throughout the entire summer. The
inside waters provide excellent ocean conditions and calm seas to find halibut
during their summer migration into the shallow waters to feed on herring, cod
and salmon. The most successful Alaska halibut fishing is on one of our Alaska
halibut fishing charter boats but if you are skilled at finding and catching
Alaska halibut you may be ready to try one of our self guided or unguided
fishing trips.
ALASKA FISHING TRIPS
GUIDED FISHING TRIPS ARE EXCLUSIVE TO YOUR GROUP
Your group will be the only guests on the boat. Our Alaska salmon and halibut
fishing trips are guided by local professional captains with US Cost Guard
licenses. Each of our captains has been fishing in and around Ketchikan for over
25 years. Our Alaska charter fishing boats are modern 28’ and 30’ six pack cabin
cruisers with top of the line fishing gear, flushing toilets, dinettes and
plenty of fishing room. We spend a full 8-10hr day on the water fishing for
salmon, halibut or both.
ALASKA SELF GUIDED FISHING TRIPS
Ketchikan Alaska unguided fishing can be the most rewarding Alaska fishing trip
of them all. You are the master of your own fishing boat - you decide when to
leave, when to fish and when to come in. Our self guided boats are completely
furnished 20’ North Rivers with canvas tops, 4-stroke outboards, downriggers,
fish finders and even a GPS chart plotter to find your way around. If you can
safely operate a boat and know a few basic fishing techniques then Alaska self
guided fishing may be for you.
