A Limit of Fall Coho Salmon In Ketchikan

Ketchikan’s Famous Fall Coho Salmon Run

When most Alaska saltwater fishing lodges are shutting down in early September, we are just getting started on our largest Silver salmon run of the year.  Our famous fall run starts the end of August and goes into October.  These fish typically average about 12-14 pounds and we have seen them over 20 lbs.  The best part about this fall run is they pass right in front of our lodge.  You only have to travel five minutes in one of our self-guided (unguided) boats to access world class Coho fishing!
