We spent three nights at Chinook Shores with two days guided fishing. It was a wonderful trip. The cabins are clean, modern and well-equipped, the hosts friendly and helpful, and the fishing spectacular. This was our first guided fishing trip but won’t be our last — with the silver running we caught one fish after the other — it was a frenzy of catching rather than the long periods of waiting we experience while fishing in the Puget Sound region. We also landed some nice halibut. Chinook Shores knows where the fish are. While we went guided both days, many other repeat visitors were going self-guided, which is something we’ll likely try next time. All-in-all, a very comfortable and successful fishing trip.
