Reservations are secured with a 50% deposit payment immediately upon booking. For your convenience, reservation payments can be made in two equal installments with the first/deposit payment due upon booking and the second/final payment due February 1st of the year of arrival. Reservations are not confirmed on our calendar until a down payment has been received for the entire group.


The standard cancellation policy applies to all reservations confirmed in our system. Cancellation notification is required before January 1 on the year of your reservation check-in. We will only refund a reservation deposit minus a 5% fee for cancellations made prior to this deadline. For cancellations made after January 1 there will be no refund on the amount paid unless the reservation can be re-booked.*
  • Before January 1 deadline: Full refund on deposits less 5% fee.
  • After January 1 deadline: No refund on payments made.*
*If a cancelled reservation can be re-booked, refunds will be given up to the amount of the new reservation less the 5% credit card processing transaction fee. The majority of time we are able to re-book your reservation and refund your payments almost immediately.

COVID-19 / Pandemic Cancellation Policy

We will fully refund individual portions of group reservations (less the 5% transaction fee) when presented with a physician’s note verifying proof of illness for those unable to travel due to COVID-19 illness. Refunds will be issued seven days prior to your original reservation arrival date. If a reservation has already begun (the check-in date has passed) this COVID-19 Coronavirus Cancellation Policy does not apply. Stay informed about Coronavirus (COVID-19) & Alaska Airlines Travel


Any change to a reservation that reduces the duration of stay or number of boats or houses needed after the initial deposit payment has been made and trip confirmed, is considered a cancellation. Shortened lengths of stay after January 1 of the arrival year will not be refunded.


Chinook Shores Lodge reservation and cancellation policy apply to all self-guided fishing packages. Guided charters sold as an add-on to the self-guided fishing package or as a single day trip are 100% non-refundable.
