Revised Southeast Alaska Regional King Salmon Sport Fishing Regulations for 2015
June 30, 2015The Alaska Department of Fish and Game is announcing revised 2015 sport fishing regulations for king salmon in Southeast Alaska and Yakutat which will be effective from 12:01 a.m. Wednesday July 1, 2015 through 11:59 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016. The regulations are:
Nonresident
- The nonresident bag and possession limit is one king salmon 28 inches or greater in length;
- The nonresident annual limit is three king salmon 28 inches or greater in length.
Alaskan Resident
- The resident bag and possession limit is two king salmon 28 inches or greater in length.
- From October 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016; all sport anglers may use two rods while fishing for king salmon
Emergency orders for local king salmon fisheries are unaffected by these revised regulations.
