KETCHIKAN, ALASKA / February 19, 2016 – Chinook Shores Lodge, an Alaska fishing lodge specializing in guided charters and self-guided fishing, today announced the addition of four 23′ Silver Streak boats to its unguided and bareboat fleet. The purchase decision is part of management’s desire to ensure that Chinook Shores Lodge remains a leading destination for Alaska sport fishing.

Silver Streak Boats has been building boats for nearly 30 years, and has earned a reputation as being one of the elite west coast boat builders. The custom-built sport fishing boats for Chinook Shores Lodge will feature:

Silver Streak Boats offer an array of benefits and upgraded safety features to anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to solid aluminum hard tops and fully welded aluminum self-bailing decks, the hull and gunnels are sprayed with closed cell polyurethane flotation foam. Chinook Shores custom-built Silver Streak Boats are equipped with Horizon VHF radios, Garmin GPSMAP 741 marine chart plotters with CHIRP sonar fish finders. These navigational instruments, electronics and added flotation give salt-water anglers the ability to fish in confidence with the highest level of safety in the industry.

Entering its 11th fishing season, Chinook Shores Lodge is operates from June 1 through September 30. Chinook Shores first custom built Silver Streak entered into service June 2015. Boats two and three will go into service May 2016, the fourth will go into service June 2016.
