If you are looking for a great fishing vacation, I would highly recommend Chinook Shores. We have been there the last two years and we are going back in June, 2010. First lets start with the owner Jeff. Jeff goes out of his way to make sure your vacation is first class. He is always there to help you find new fishing spots and help you with tackle. The Chalets (which Jeff Built) are fully stocked with everything you need for up to 6 people and are located on the water with great views. The boats are first class with tops to protect you from the rain (yes it rains in Ketchikan) and the fishing is great. Chinook shores is only 20 minutes from town. Our group has been to many fishing lodges in Alaska and BC and I would have to rate Chinook Shores as number one.
